Meet the team
Chris Aikin | Founder & Speaker:
Chris brings nearly two decades of frontline corrections experience across multiple institutions and systems: Correctional Officer at Indiana Department of Corrections (maximum security, death row); Community Supervision Officer at Federal Bureau of Prisons; Correctional Officer at Iowa Department of Corrections (union leader); and currently Jail Sergeant at Webster County Sheriff's Office.
He is NAFTO-accredited as a Field Training Officer and a certified Iowa Law Enforcement Academy instructor in jail operations. Beyond his correctional work, Chris serves as a weekly adult Sunday school teacher, regular preacher, and church leader. The Nehemiah Commission is the convergence of both callings.
